Reputation, Reputation, Reputation

Two of my best friends, JB and Ren, are kick-ass CC's (Clinical Coordinators) at New Haven Learning Centre, a school for children with Autism.

After meeting with them yesterday, I learned one very valuable lesson - Reputation can mean everything.

Both have been accepted to do their Masters of Education at OISE, a prestigious research intensive facility for education. The school is highly respected and regarded in North America. They are also applying to a masters program in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), at a school, not as known as OISE. If they get into that program, they will need to choose between the two facilities. ABA is what they do, day in and day out at New Haven...they will eventually have to become Board Certified...so why not go straight to what they need?

...because in their world - reputation can mean everything.
