After months of searching, Mark and I finally found a table! A circa 1950's Paul McCobb found at Zig Zag in Leslieville.
This has been long awaited. After searching through most of Toronto's uppity furniture stores (they just don't design for the urban lifestyle...no matter what they say or advertise) and combing through the world wide web (why don't U.S. companies ship to Canada?)...we didn't think we would find what we wanted...until one sunny Saturday afternoon...

it is very nice... I hate furniture stores too... a lot.. they're build for the masses *s* - and we girls are unique
Thanks Henriette. It has been a long time coming. It seems like a lot of furniture stores are functioning like a Gap or other mainstream stores...they tell you what you should and should not like, what is 'in style'...pretty frustrating when originality gets lost.
PS. Am still working on my part for the pinko book. :)
