I have really really lost well.. faith in Word of Mouth.. since my trip to viral la la land. I hope that most of it is sincere - but fx I know that there are teenagers hired by companies to do " homemade videos" on youtube to hype a product...
it makes me sick to my stomach that people are doing this, especially as it didn't come from genuine interest - it sprang from money..
basically it's all a apart of a strategy - and I guess you can't avoid it, but boy does it make me sad
Hey Henriette - it has been awhile. Yes, I know what you are saying. But, I think people can do the same with viral? The way I see it is if the company or myself know we are ethical and the customers are in full control - they we are good.
Dave - what were the experts saying at the conference on this topic?
