Podcamp Toronto - crazy good

Podcamp Toronto took place this year at my alma mater - Ryerson University - over this past weekend.

Some 200+ registered attendees and 40+ presentations over 2 days...all for free! Thanks organizers of Podcamp Toronto!

I managed to attend 90% of day 1, and saw great case studies from Mark Blevis, Bob Goyetche, Sabita Singh, Hugh McGuire, Christopher Penn, Mitch Joel and John Wall...

I took away some great learning and some dirty ones too ;) ...can't wait to apply them (some I already did)...look out!

Wished I could have made it out to day 2 of Podcamp Toronto...but alas, a life without social media does exists...

PS. It was nice meeting so many of you in person (Bryper)...and catchin' up with those I have met through social media! (Andy - Wilco's Impossible Germany is amazing!!!)

So glad you could attend, and I hope to see you at PodCamp Toronto2, whensoever someone makes that happen.

So good to meet you in person on Saturday, Michelle. Thanks for the mini tour of downtown, too. I popped back over to Roots on Sunday to buy some souvenirs for my kids. Good recommendation!

See you around online :)

Ed - did you make it out to podcamp? Yup, Sabita had a great case study. Definitely some good learnings there.

Chris - there will definitely have to be a '2' since I am sure podcasting will have taken a whole new look and feel in a year.

Bryer - Yes, will definitely catch up with you online...whether it is SL or IM...

ciao.

It was great seeing you too (and meeting new people (Bryper). We missed you yesterday but I understand the importance (and challenges) of balance.

I scooted out for the Toronto Fashion Bloggers' Brunch in the middle.

The panel presentation, "Should your company be podcasting?" was excellent. I shared notes from it and Sabita's presentation with my colleagues this morning.

See you tonight in SL for "After a Fashion".
